Best Shave Soaps Under $10

Since starting DE shaving I have been using creams only. I am thinking about trying out some soaps but don't want to break the bank. I was just wondering what some of your favorite inexpensive soaps are.

Stirling refill pucks a $9.50 or less depending on scent. Great performer. Samples are usually $2.50 and last for 21-28 shaves for me depending on brush I use. $5 flat shipping

Italian barber soaps are cheap, perform well. Believe they average about $5-$6 a puck.

Noticed the mystic waters refill pucks at less than $10, but not sure how long they last.

These three get good marks from the community as a whole, and have a lot of scent choices.

I second Stirling as the best soap for the price and up their with the best of any price. They also have a great list of ingredients which starts with a tallow base of course. See below. I like the samples because they are 1.1oz and fit nicely into the metal tins they sell, and unlike most samples they are regular sliced off regular pucs.

Beef Tallow, Stearic Acid, Distilled Water, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Vegetable Glycerin, Essential Oil, Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Coconut Milk, Lanolin, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Lactate

Proraso Red would be my recommendation. Performance is great for the price and for me the scent is great.

RazoRock, Italian Barber, Stirling are the three I would go with for <$10. You really can't beat the value that they bring for their price.

I'm far from an expert but if we're talking bang for the buck, I can't imagine anything surpassing Arko.
