Do yourself a favor an up your budget 15 bucks and get that Envy White. Its really, really good. Also his Finest and Luxury silvertips are VERY good as well (All nathan clark). They are very generously sized and are nicely dense. He has some Fan options as well so if you are partial to those, shot him an email

Edit: Bad news, looks like Nathan is out of fans and may not be able to get any more in that shape

Wiborg is taking far too long to produce brushes right now. I agree with most of the above, you can not go wrong with a Shavenac silvertip (not a D01) in 2 band. A 26mm knot around 54-55mm loft would make a fine brush. They treat you great, you don't have to beg for a brush and it generally does not take that long

My favourite knots are from these 3:

Shavemac
Simpson
Thäter

Budget: Vie Long

I think the best quality knots are Shavemac's, especially their two-band silvertip!

I'm a big fan of Envy White at the price, but if you have the cash, go Shavemac 2-band Silvertip. I just got my first, a 28x50, from Bernd and within a week I ordered a 28x48 from Rudy in a custom handle. Phenomenal knot.

I own quite a few high end brushes and even taking them into account I'd say the Nathan Clark Envy White knots are some of the best available 2-band knots (assuming they are consistently similar to the one I own). Zero scritch and super soft tips without being gel-tipped (I don't get excited over gel-tipped brushes and while I don't dislike them, I feel they are the result of over treating of the hairs and are to some extent damaged).

For my preferences, the NC Envy White knots are superior to the Shavemac 2-band silvertip knots, of which I own 2, one fan and one bulb.

Definitely great options named here ... For my 2 cents ... Shavemac 2 band is my favorite.

I do have fan, depending on size.

I wholeheartedly agree and would only add Thater to that as well.

I've yet to try a White Envy knot, but would want one in 26 or 28mm.
