I would have to recommend the mingshi adjustable razor a clone/or similar copy from the merkur futur for the price you can't go wrong. The price can range from $5-15. This razor gives you ability to go from mild to aggressive with no problems. You can try a sample pack of razor blades to see what works for you. I was impress with this razor so much so that I went ahead and purchased the merkur futur in Gold.

Now whether these qualify as bonafide Gillettes is up to the buyer as they are made in the Third World and of cheap stamped "mystery" metal. However, I have the latter one and although light in weigh the shave is simply stellar.
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Even if it only lasts a year or two, it didn't cost you much and you'll have had many good shaves for the few dollars.
Win-win scenario in my book.

FWIW Gillette product carries the same specs regardless of place of manufacture. Like McDonald's. I would not expect a US produced razor to be superior in any way.

IMHO, one of the best design out there.
With some features of the high-end ones.
But with an exeptional lightness.
