Yeah, I only had a sample of their bay rum early on in my wetshaving journey. I didn't know what bay rum was so naturally, I was curious. That's why samples are the way to go if you're not sure.

That's actually a part of the problem...i honestly don't know if i like a clove-y bay rum Smile

Maybe I'll start with a sample the next time i order some bath soap. They also have a Bay Rum Witch Hazel, which I assume will be very similar to the AS.

I can't use Stirling's Bay Rum splash. It is extremely warm in my opinion.

I routinely follow Captains Choice Bay Rum with Captains Choice Cat o Nine Tails splash in the winter and I simply LOVE the burn.

Stirling's Bay Rump Splash brought tears to my eyes. I used it once and ended up washing my head to get it off. Even after the dry down it continued to burn. I ended up tossing the rest of the sample out.

I'm not sure I understand the question - choosing between bay rums? Just get them all. Big Grin Seriously though, many (most) bay rums have more similarities than differences with only a few deviating significantly from the profile.

I agree..most of them are somewhat similar with minor differences.

Another vote for Krampert's! Great scent and skincare, not much burn if the shave was good.
