I tried Spyce today. This is not an Old Spice clone, far from it. It's not pumpkin pie baking in the oven either. Many years ago I was in Bermuda when some trees fell down. The smell of spices were in the air - fresh spices. This was that scent - fresh island spices, not heavy. I don't think it lasted very long either. I would call this an aftershave that embodies subtropical island life - a touch of the ocean wind was in there too.

Likewise... they've also just recently released Vetiver Noir- in fact, Gareth at @"TheHandleBar" has it in stock.
Kevin, have you smelled the Vetiver Noir? I'm curious how it compares to the Vetiver original.
Thanks,
Mark

I tried Royall Rugby today, which is a cologne. It certainly seemed strong enough to be a cologne. Described as containing "Geranium leaves and black currant unveil an earthy voyage with rugged notes of patchouli and vetiver which fuse with warm under las fying nuances of incense" - See more at: http://www.royalllymebermuda.com/shop/ru...RPJq7.dpuf This is too complex for me, I just got a modern, but fresh, cologne, not a favorite.
But what do I know - my wife just gave it a thumbs up.

Hi Marko I have not although I asked Gareth at @"TheHandleBar" and he described it as the crowd pleaser of the the line and that he felt like he should be wearing a suit with it
Although I have to wear suits on a somewhat regular basis I do so under silent protest so not sure if this would be for me

Kevin, I know what you mean - I'm wasn't sure what sophisticated meant. I thought it meant getting punched a lot (so-fist-icated) so I looked it up. Since retiring last year I've worn a suit 4 times, one was a funeral the others meetings. So nice after 25 years of wearing them 5 days a week. I'm not wild about Royall regular Vetiver so I'm not sure I'd like the noir version and I fall into the usually love vetiver camp.
Thanks,
Mark
