forgot I still had this bay rum in my drawer today...I used my captain's choice ASB...pretty good example of a solid bay rum that seems to have pretty good staying power. I'm about out of it so it'll get a reorder after I clear out some other splashes and balms.

I have found that Captains Choice has better staying power than most bay rums. Smells good too.

agreed.

I wore it again today and kept the bottle on the shelf in my bathroom so I can finish it out this week. I probably have 1-2 more uses out of the bottle before it's done.

I just got a new Captions Choice Shaving bowls and he sent me a sample of his Bay Rum Shave Soap and Aftershave and the soap was more like a cream but it had a nice Bay Rum smell. Same with the aftershave. My guess is he’s using essential oils to make his Bay Rum so in my opinion it smells like Bay not a synthetic version of one. Good stuff in my humble oipion.

Yeah, I’m not crazy about CC soap but the bay rum splash rocks. Awesome lather bowls too!

That’s a class looking shave right there the color combo reminds of a 1959 Cadillac Covertable in red with crème interior. I had a friend that had one and I was 14 I used to droll over that car. Thanks for the memory.

Funny how we associate one thing with another.
Yeah it is.  For me it's a white C2 Vette ragtop with red interior.

I haven’t used the soap sample yet so I’ll let you know on that one but your so right on about the bowls.
