I used one of my very favorite Bay Rums today, ‘Rooster’s Nest Bourbon Bay Rum’. Leaves my skin feeling great, and the Scent is one of my personal favorites. If I could have only one, I would be hard pressed to choose between this one and PAA ‘Atomic Age’ Bay Rum.
 The best of them all

So, according to the label it’s produced (made?) in Dominica and imported by the California-Antilles Trading Consortium.  I was sorting through stuff in the basement and found three full unopened bottles of the stuff. Happy day.

It's almost like they only wanted you to buy 1 bottle for your entire lifetime, lol.

The grand bay bay rum is in an 8oz bottle.

Canadians get a pass with how expensive and difficult it can be to get stuff up there!

I got my rooster's nest bay rum in.

What I get off of the bottle is a nice, clean and classic bay rum scent. I'm not much of a liquor person nor have I smelled a bunch of different bourbons in my time but I don't get much of a bourbon smell.

Perhaps the scent is just blended really well, there's a very low amount of bourbon used or there's not enough nuances between the bourbon and bay rum to detect strong differences....I'll leave that to the liquor experts!

First try will be after my shower here shortly (non-shaved)!

While I love bay rum in many iterations, I don't really want to smell boozy.  While some small batch bay rums may contain actual rum I believe that most do not.
