Rose Shaving Soap in a Bowl (Geo. F. Trumper's)
I just finished a puck of Trumper's Eucris shaving soap ... not for shaving though. I used it as a hand soap for two full months, and it was magnificent. That reeking wonderful scent stayed true all the way to the last crumb. Now it's time for Rose to perform the same trick. I have to admit, both of these soaps were lousy for shaving. Their lathers were thin and disgusting. But for a quick wash up before dinner, what a delight.

There is a beautiful aroma associated with repairing and prepping skis common to ski lodges, mix in a wood stove and fireplace and its magical.

Thanks for the information, Dan. Honestly, I’ve never been skiing but this seems sweeter than what you are describing.
