The weather is getting warmer and my bar of Stirling Chestnuts Roasting (it is awesome, BTW) is close to done. So I just put in an order for a few warm weather soaps from Stirling: Island Man, Queen of hearts, and Campania. Got an extra bar of Island Man for my youngest daughter who loves the soap (and steals mine from the master bath, lol).

Emailed Rod before my order. If I understood him correctly, Chestnuts Roasting will return for Christmas 2023. However, so far there isn't a lot of interest in it, so unless that increases we won't see a shaved soap in the same scent. I have my fingers crossed that it's appeal improves. It has such a nice, warm nutty scent.

Happy Thursday folks!

Thanks DanLaw for turning me on to PdP, definitely worth it.

Good purchase. I wanna try the tea soon. Is the scent strong or moderate?

I agree with DanLaw, fairly subtle scent, I would put it in the "moderate" category. Like I said, sort of a floral that I can't place, but very pleasant, and it does make the bathroom have a nice scent.

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
No. 63 (Pré de Provence) spice bomb

This wasn't working on my face, so I moved it to the bath, and there it suits me very well. There's plenty of Shea butter in it, so no itchy skin after a long hot shower.

You’re making me realize that I should do the same with an old puck of Provence Sante soap that’s going unused. Should hopefully do well as a bath soap with decent shea butter content.

I really enjoy the scent on this one and the soap makes really good suds but, this one may end up in the trash in the near future.  The problem is that dark color is staining my washcloth.  Maybe I'll try it as handsoap but I really don't want it staining the soap dish either
