Barrister & Mann Shaving Soap. The aroma changed for the worse

Will, I'm sorry you have to deal with this stuff, especially on a public forum. I admire your equanimity and legal training. Some folks can't help developing conspiracy mindsets, based on their upbringing, education and culture. I encourage us on this forum not to fall into that world view. I received my second tubs of both Leviathan and Seville last week, and they each smell just like the prior versions. Keep up the great work.

This entire thread is one of the most juvenile conversations I've seen in here since the notorious Wolfman disaster of 2016... I'm amazed that Will even dignified some of this crap with a response.

Will, keep it up bud! I've never noticed any variance in scent of any of your products over the years (disclaimer: not Russian). If people really get this bent out of shape... DON'T BUY IT! There are many other artisans out there, go buy from them. More B&M for me!

As I said I have no issue with B&M Seville shaving soap when I bought this from Con at The Stray Whisker, Will, keep up the great work.

You are right, opinion does NOT change fact.  However your perception of a smell is an OPINION.  How someone perceives something is always an opinion.  You yourself say "I feel", feelings are not facts.  Facts would be "did he change the amounts or ratios of essential oils (and fragrance oils if they are used)."  Will has refunded your money which is something many of us would not consider doing.  Instead of thanking him for going above and beyond, you continue to post this same old nonsense of how you discern a difference in smells as some sort of scientific fact.  You also are continuing to attack him on other forums.  

Try being classy and saying "thank you for the refund and letting me keep the soaps."  I have unapproved your latest multi-paragraph attack on the "changed" scent as you are just repeating your assertion that your nose can somehow detect scientific facts.

This thread has served its purpose, you have your money and the product.  Closing the thread.
