Hey Will, fantastic job with the Beaudelaire scent. I love those old school, powerhouse fougeres from the 70s and 80s that I grew up with and to me this is very much in that vein. Love it.

Will at Barrister_N_Mann  has done it again. I used the Beaudelaire for the first time this morning, and it's a remarkable performer. While the original BandM soaps are among my favorites, I've got to say that the new glissant base is a leap forward. I've used the Adagio, the 42, and now the Beaudelaire, and I'd be hard pressed to name a soap that performs better.

The scent of the Beaudelaire is so pleasant-and surprising. Surprising because when I read 'Fern', 'Moiusse de Saxe',  'Ylang Ylang' and 'Sandalwood' on the label, I was wary and expecting a very earthy, fougere like scent. There was some of that while I loaded the brush, but after the first pass, the sweeter notes came out, and my impression is that it was a very sophisticated barbershop with an undertone of green moss.

Finished with the matching AS, and the sillage was very good for an AS. As an added bonus, the better half exclaimed 'Oh, I love that one!' So, yes, it's in the rotation Smile
All the best,

I have to completely agree. I just shaved with it and it smells absolutely amazing. I was nervous that I wasn't going to like it and now it's giving Lavanille a run for its money as my favorite Barrister and Mann scent. I just love this company's products. Can't wait to pre order Barrister's Reserve.

The new Boudelaire is amazing! Great performance from the glissant base of course, and the scent - so lovely, complex - refined. Another home run and well worth the wait!

SharpSpine is correct: Barrister's Reserve will begin shipping September 10th (sorry, forgot to include that in the email).

Not yet. We're ramping up production a little more slowly, and the international vendors will mostly get is first (with two exceptions). There's less need for it because the consumer pays no shipping within CONUS, so we're a bit less under the gun in that respect.
