So its not my imagination - I've tried fruitlessly to track down the leaves. I've sampled plenty of bay rum soaps and aftershaves and in these desperate times what with shortages and all, desperate measures are required. Those that can't properly execute bay rum soaps/aftershaves should cease production and leave the little bay there is to those who can. Barrister and Mann ranks very high on the list of those who can and, in my opinion yur bay supplies should be assured.

OMG! I just gave a new tub of B&M Bay Rum to one of my brothers leaving me with one tub with only a tiny ring remaining around the perimeter and one fresh tub!! I must get it back! Let the hoarding begin!

In the finest spirit of panic I just ordered another of the pre-glissant (i.e., classic) Bay Rum soaps.  I also ordered a second dopp kit in green for my son.  I ordered the khaki one a few weeks back.  If anyone is sitting on the fence wondering if they should purchase this dopp kit, I can tell you they are of excellent quality, roomy and at the discounted price, a bargain.  Buy several to give as gifts to your shaving family members and friends or if you're really generous, buy one and fill it with some really cool starter products and give it to someone you wish to convert.  That would be one classy starter set.

While I can't wait to try these scents in the glissant formula, I truly can't wait for the aftershaves!
