That sounds like an awesome soap and the label design is probably the best I've seen in the shaving world (if you care about that sort of thing). Well done Will!

Upcoming. Smile

And whaddayaknow! Will definitely be picking up some from IB when the release comes around.

Oh, and consider me signed up to the new email list!

I hope it doesn't sell out as quick as Hallows did which was like 10 minutes. Does anyone know how many jars of Hallows were made; am curious as to how it compares to the 500 for Night Music?

I don't know for sure but I think he always does 500. This is the last run of 500 according to the Night Music description. I recall Will saying he will make 1,000 going forward but rather him answer your question. I do believe it will sell out fast though, but I will make sure I'm at my computer or phone ready to buy as soon as it releases.

I believe I recall Will saying that Hallows was 240 tubs of soap and 200 bottles of aftershave, all sold through his store. I'm expecting this'll be more like the release of LGC, which was also 500/350 and sold through most of his vendors, which helped even things out.

Hmm... Will, what fragrance would you recommend pairing Night Music with? I somehow don't think I'm capable of making Shalimar work on me.

I also just read the email about Night Music. Sounds really great to me. Now, what's my best bet? Order at 12:00 Feb 5th straight from B&M or vendor?

I'm waiting for Bay Rum to come in the mail right now. What do you say, Will, any future teleport delivery service for DFS member's orders? I hate waiting, even though it's only 2-3 days coming across NYS. If only I would have started ordering B&M soaps long before this! Great soap!

I will try and order straight from Will. In event that is unsuccessful I will then try the vendors, and if that strikes out, it will result in the BST hunt.

Blade4vor I know what you mean about the wait - I'm in Canada and it takes significantly longer than 2-3 days. I'll often forget about it by the time it shows up and then its like a nice surprise. Smile You will like Barrister & Mann Bay Rum, its Will's riff on the traditional bay rum and I love it. I love almost all bay rums but this one maybe a bit more.

Thanks for sharing your strategies, guys!

Marko, I feel silly about my impatience now!  But, I only have 2 B&M scents so far: DFS and Vetyver Santal, so I just NEED another!  I've said it before: "I can't believe I waited so long to try B&M!"  There are so many soaps, though, so maybe I can be forgiven.  I'm just a shaving soap nut!

I really would like to snag the next few releases.(and maybe more  Rolleyes!)

He likes them quite a bit actually. Oceana is his new favorite.

Is Oceana still his favorite or has Taiga moved it over?

Hallows was indeed 240, a gross underestimation/miscalculation on my part (which will not be repeated). All limited releases going forward will be 1,000 jars; once the stock is gone, it's gone, but 1,000 is a large enough number that pretty much everyone who wants one will have the chance to get one. I would recommend the following as compliments to the vanilla:

Guerlain Jicky
Guerlain Habit Rouge
Diptyque Eau Duelle
Le Labo Patchouli 24 (though some people don't care for the smokiness)
