What’s the smell on these?

I can't tell you on Angelique but I'm a fan of FG.

You hunt? The smell is when you are posted up under a pine. You hear a noise behind you and then you dig your boot heals into the soft soil because of the mornings frost burning off and the dead leaves breaking down into the moss. When you break into that soil with the boot heal that smell is FG.

Better than most of the petrichor scents out there. It's the EDT that shines though. Much more nuanced and softens the earth smell I get from the soap and splash.

I recently bought «Nocturne» soap. Slide was disgusting! I did not expect this from BM, because I have Seville and Dickens. Why could this happen? Defective soap or cause my hands?

Nope, I really like Seville and Dickens. I really like Nocturne scent, but its slipping is just awful. I can not understand what I'm doing wrong. I tried to add more water, but basically nothing changes. You have never encountered such?

Oh, now I understand. I've no idea, really. The base is identical, so there should be no issue. Where did you get it? It may have been damaged in transit, subjected to extreme heat or some such thing. That can screw up soap pretty significantly.

Definitely possible. Especially if it took it this long to arrive. We haven't made Nocturne for six months, and I'm fairly sure that Maggard's stock was exhausted some time ago. Darn international shipping!

I bought >3 months ago. I hope, problem in international delivery. And then I thought that you had a defective batch of soap. It's sad that it happened. Thanks for the clarification!

Today I was gifted a tub of Waves.

It smells a lot like Ariana and Evans Uno. Does anyone else smell a similarity?
