Used Reserve base for the first time today with Cool set. I am blown away with the performance of this stuff. 8 hrs and I can still feel my skin soft and hydrated. This is exceptional product and seem that this range might make all my other soaps redundant.

I need pointers for my next pick in Reserve base and other standard offerings. Just 1 each please. I have lavanille and Seville already apart from Cool.

Well jags009 , I can quite confidently recommend all of them Sorry if you find this unhelpful but for me trying to decide which of the many Barrister and Mann soaps and scents I prefer is like trying to decide which of my children I love more. That said, Hallows and Leviathan do tend to drift to the top of the list. Sorry kids.

Nice choices.

I lean towards three thus far: Adagio, Diamond, Roam. In no particular order, as I love all my children.

Roam and Reserve Fern are my two tops right now. I really like the Latha Original scent as well. There are quite a few I haven't experienced yet though.

I will stay away from recommending any limited editions that are not readily available so my two favorites are Reserve Fern and Le Grand Chypre. Be sure to get the set and save yourself 10%.

the reserve aftershaves are fantastic. I can easily get whiffs of the scent 12+ hours after I splashed it on..

I have not gone through the entire thread and am not sure if this question has been asked by anyone before.

Does B&M intend to replace the regular base with a reserve base in all of it's soaps?

The reason I am asking is because I find reserve to be a more superior product and would be great if all the classic/regular scents be provided in this base.

Nope. Been asked a few times.

Will has said he is a perfumer that makes soaps. If he decided to sell off B&M soaps I think he would short himself with not having glissant as well as the reserve options.

Also, like the gun debate he has his glissant fanboys that would freak.

I'm a big Reserve base guy myself. I'd love to see a glissant or reserve option as a drop down when buying a soap (think vegan or tallow options) but from past replies don't hold your breath.
