I was about to grab a sample but stopped myself because I know I'm going to order a full tub.

If a reminder about international pre-orders can be made here I'd appreciate it.

It seems Italian Barber "leaked" all the details about the Fougère Gothique release. Barrister_N_Mann , is this an Apple's style controlled leak? ;-)

While I didn't necessarily expect them to do that, I don't really object. Doesn't quite interfere with our marketing, since there's still a certain flair here. I wrote that copy for the retailers to use in their pre-orders, so it's of no major concern.

I saw that this morning and had a wtf moment - I went and checked your website to ensure that I wasn't in fact losing my mind Well, maybe I am but I wasn't wrong on what I thought the pre-order date was. To be fair, IB isn't taking pre-orders but rather allowing people to sign up for email reminders when pre-orders open.

It's a limited edition.

So basically the general release is until stocks last and these will be just the stock leftover after pre-orders have been fulfilled, or is a certain quantity set aside for the general release?

Hmm...could you explain the general release (and not be cryptic about it) in the meantime?...It'll take almost a month for the sample from Maggards to get to me (if I'm able to get it on Thursday) which is why I ask...

Fair enough.

The pre-order will open on Tuesday for two weeks. There will be certain items that will be of limited stock (due to manufacturing constraints), but soap, aftershave, EdP, and t-shirts will be available on an unlimited basis during that time. Pre-orders will ship during the beginning of October.

Any retailer who requests it will receive stock of the soap, aftershave, and EdP, and their orders will also not be volume-limited. Some of them will order hundreds, some only a few. Some, like Maggard, are opening pre-orders of their own. Regardless of methodology, all of the retailers will open their stock to the general public on October 23rd.

Also on the 23rd, we will open one batch of regular soap and aftershave to the public, along with whatever we have in EdP (which may become a permanent item as we progress further into real perfume). Once the soap and aftershave have sold out from our site, we will not be offering any more. The EdP, as I mentioned, is another matter, and will likely be available for the foreseeable future.
