Let's see, current projects and updates:

We will be expanding the Latha line in the coming weeks to include three new scents. We will also be revamping our list of retailers to include some new places and eliminate some places that aren't really pulling their weight.

Black Label is being discontinued. Sorry to those who loved it, but it had to be done. However, the Lavender soap will endure in Latha form.

We're currently working on a way to sell soap in the EU, since our attempt at getting the formula certified under the EU Cosmetics Directive was unsuccessful. More on that as we move closer to the completion of the project.

There are several other projects in the works that I can't really get into until they're closer to completion, but good/big things are coming!

Finally, new seasonal soaps are due out on June 21st! The scents (and their descriptions) are as follows:

Adagio: Lime, cherry, violet leaf absolute, lily of the valley, floral musk, menthol ($16/jar)

Solarion: Bergamot, petitgrain, geranium, carnation, saffron ($17/jar)

We will also be releasing a Lavanille Tonique aftershave on the same date.

I love Latha & I'm thrilled that more scents will be offered. As I'm no fan of lavender I look forward to hearing what else is coming.

Tallow. It's EXTREMELY difficult to convince the Certification Commission to okay a tallow formula. The Europeans are paranoid about the possibility of BSE and thus require proof of all sort of processes to clean the tallow before it's used. Not pleasant, and very difficult and expensive to obtain.

FYI, for those who are sort of on the fence about whether to try it because of a) the licorice or b) it's a "girly" scent, Maggard Razors will be posting samples of Velvet either today or tomorrow.

In my experience, most of the guys who smell it enjoy it. Worth a try if you're interested!
