I received my new samples today and off the mini-tub the scent of Midnight Special is very interesting. Their description is:
I pick up several of these and it is a really well done blend. Kudos!!
Now for Braeburn:
Spot on regarding the apple!! It smells like you stuck your nose into a barrel of ripe apples!! If you like apples this is for you!!

I saw the latest Barrister and Mann releases on Top of the Chain and I have to ask, how could you do a space cowboy inspired release and not even mention Firefly? How can I even take it seriously? I have to say, however, those scent notes for Midnight Special do look appealing.

Beaudelaire is here and I have confirmed with WCS that their exclusivity contract expired. That said, I like Beaudelaire better than Lavanille, but I really don't understand the new labels B&M is using and their relationship to the scent.

No, there has been no reformulation. But definitely read about Charles Baudelaire before saying that the label makes no sense. 
Not sure where you got anything about tweaks, though. I don't recall saying that, and we're using the original copy from when the soap was released in 2015.
