I would reconsider lumping censorship and communist, or classical marxist economic theory in complaint. Phil could, and is incredibly generous with product. I learned, and was slow, that it came with a price only a capitalist worthy of the one percenters would inflict without moral base. I was one of the first people to join his forum two weeks into it's creation. His motive was the sad decline of SHAVEMYFACE; the mother of all shaving forums. Ironic that he is again posting there with his product announcements. I lasted until a new administrator verbally abused me in PM. I am not a PM pussy and publically told him bluntly to go F himself. I was banned. I cannot convey the 3 seconds of freezing angst that went to my very bone marrow. Then I finally opened a puck of Razorock gifted soap like a sinner liberated from religious guilt. I felt like some parochial farm boy tasting champagne in a big city ( not chitown.)
So, move on and Phil can turn off the lights and lock the door all by himself someday.

All kidding aside, DFS is great.
Mr. Shill and his minions.

Apparently,  that forum isn't run by Bullgoose... Lol...  I wonder how much high value soap and aftershave i need to sniff to believe that.

Phil asked me to help him bring people to tsn when it started because he wanted to own a forum where he controlled the content and only high priced (read big margin) shave gear was discussed and promoted...  Guess why?

I refused to participate as a vendor because i don't share the belief you have to spend tons of money to get a wonderful shaving experience. I see nothing wrong with luxury products but I do see lots wrong with making the people who can't afford them feel like lessor men.

This is absolutely remarkable that a post like this is allowed to stand at DFS. Rule #4 at DFS explicitly bans personal attacks, yet this post and others go untouched.

Joe is hardly in a position to question the business practices of others. He makes a living by trading on the names of famous companies to sell his products, without which, his 2 - 3 day shipping delay would be resolved in an instant. Yes, Phil sells expensive products. He also sells Proraso and Taylor of Old Bond Street, products by reputable makers accessible to everyone. Before there was a shortage, Joe was selling bowls of Boellis shaving soap for $135, no doubt a slap in the face of lesser men. Joe's post is nothing more than an example of utter hypocrisy.

I hope that the moderators here will allow this post to stand, as open and honest discussion is supposed to be encouraged here. I also hope that I will not be subject to a ban for merely voicing an opinion. I was already banned for a week for questioning the qualifications of Will Carius as an expert on all things perfume.

Your counterpoint has merit. However, BEN 74 shot his big Bohan mouth off in a PM against a loved one I had just lost

I'm a vendor, period. I don't hide behind smoke and mirrors.

Phil is welcome to come here and defend his actions and the numerous people he banned for no reason other than... It didn't fit his shilling agenda. He will just tell you he doesn't run tsn. Unfortunately, i can't discuss on tsn because I was banned for no good reason. Do you think it's coincidence that most brands Bullgoose doesn't sell are banned from tsn?

I don't know the circumstances of your ban nor was that issue a topic of my remarks. You accused Phil of only selling expensive products. This is untrue and you know it. You sell many of the same products available from Phil for the same price or in some cases AT A HIGHER PRICE, Boellis soap being one example. You are attacking the man for a supposed crime of which you are equally guilty.
