A couple weeks ago I used my Tabac and MWF after many, many months. I had kinda forgotten how good these soaps are. I decided to thin the den after using these and promptly sold off about 14 soaps. All are good. I just got tired of having soaps laying around that did not get regular use.

My soap inventory/rotation now is the Tabac, MWF, and three flavors of Jabonman soaps. I now have an easy decision in using 5 wonderful soaps. These are some of my original soaps and are all I need

Congrats. I’m not at that point yet, but every time I use MdC, I ask myself “why do I keep anything else?” Then when I use a Declaration soap, I ask myself “why do I keep anything else?” The good news is that the number of soaps that causes me to ask that question is diminishing over time...

Yes, they certainly are. However, the "shiny object" today is the mendacious pursuit of post shave feel.

This indeed seems to be the "shiny object," for reasons I don't comprehend. Post-shave feel is the domain of aftershave. In fact, I submit that the use of Chatillon Lux or Maol Grooming aftershave trumps any post-shave feel from any soap or cream, including those mentioned in this thread.

Congratulations! I decided to minimize my soap collection to one principal soap approximately 8 years ago and I have had no regrets.
I have tried almost every new soap that has come out during this time, but none has swayed me to give up my principal soap, even though many were superb soaps.
Enjoy the simplicity. Smile

Odd. I've shaved 2 days in a row using MWF, and had just about decided that I could be happy forever with just it. I don't think I love it enough to dump my entire collection, but I know in the future many soaps will not be repurchased and the collection will shrink. MWF will always have a prime place though.

Heaven forbid if you should question this as the pitchforks & knives quickly come out.  Rolleyes  I guess I am far too objective as well as cursed with good looks as the women are far too busy tearing off my clothes rather than checking out my PSF!!  Big Grin  Tongue  Wink

I assume everyone must know since nobody has asked but which one is that?
