This has to be, at least for me, the most delightful scent B&M has conceived. Just simply splendid. Fresh, but not overly aquatic in a preppy way. The AS is just heavenly!! I have only sampled all the Reserve line, but I will be buying a tub of this gem!! Buy w/o hesitation.  Wink

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Barrister_N_Mann sent over the soap and aftershave for the Movember donation drive and I agree, it smells pretty good! I'll be buying the aftershave.

These are very subjective, but strength normal AS, not Aramis or Clubman nuclear. Longevity......dunno. Wore it to work and was outdoors a lot. Same as their other AS's.

Used Waves for the first time this weekend and I think this is a good entry point for someone wanting to try B&M, this scent took me back to high school (smells like Gillette Wild Rain from the 90's) this is a light easy to like fresh scent, with a little bit of something else so it's not boring/generic (insert fragrance snob adjective). I have a nostalgic spot for this scent. now to take me back to the 90's I used the soap and AS and used CK One to finish off, 10 hours later I was still catching faint whiffs of the AS, CK One was gone. It's not an overpowering scent 5/10 when lathering soap and first putting on AS, a couple hours later 3-4 and after about 6 hours just the occasional whiff. Now I'll give a disclaimer scents tend to last on my skin. I also noted that my wife loved how I smelled at dinner (that was about 8 hours after applying) so it passes the wife approved test

I found Cool and Spice to be quite strong and long-lasting, whereas Will's newer Reserve offerings (e.g. Fern, Lavender, Seville) are, in contrast, quite light and short-lived. We seem to have had different experiences in that regard.

Except, B&M didn't conceive it. It's a direct copy of Gillette Wild Rain aftershave just as all of the Reserve line are dupes of old discontinued scents.

Yes I know and I hesitated at that word usage, but I left it as is. Blush
