B&M soft heart

I look forward to soft hearts releases in Canada soon!

The only problem is that most currently made triple milled soaps, with a meager few exceptions, e.g., Fine, either have little to no scent or smell like your grandma's purse.

OK, I laughed out loud. I’m a fan of the Saponificio Varesino soaps that I have, and none of them smell like my grandma’s purse, but strong scents they are not, that is true. (However, I’d definitely use the word “classy” to describe them.)

Having kind of a crazy week, but will try to get around using Le Petit Chypre. I really enjoy the scent of the dry soap and the splash, even though I haven’t yet used them. Glad that Barrister and Mann is bringing back some of these past scents once more.

I like the grandmothers’ purse reference. It could be worse. I recall someone a few years back saying that Xpec shave soap smelled like cologne for a corpse.

Haha, that’s a good one! (I always thought that the sample of XPEC I had smelled somewhat like a urinal puck… )

Ruds just reviewed soft heart today and it proves something to me.  B&M Excelsior, while being a fine soap appeared to be not much improved over Glissant for whatever reason and I thought, a bit of a misstep given B&M’s reputation.  Well, the other base they had in testing before Excelsior was released was this soft heart base and it was what us B&M fans were expecting. Ruds just scored it 100 and that would’ve put B&M ahead of everyone for over a year.

ok now I really need to try this Soft Heart version!!!!  (I never got the news it was available : (

We'll post announcements on Instagram and reddit as well. Unfortunately, I can't send an email to our full mailing list; the sudden influx of people trying to check out with the soap all at once would cause severe inventory issues, with people having product bought right out from under them, so we're avoiding that practice.

That said, no reason that I can't post a new thread in our Merchant forum announcing when a new Soft Heart is going to be available, as well as a fragrance description. Will that work?

For anyone interested in the Soft Heart Series, I’d advise to go take a look at Barrister and Mann’s merchant thread.

If your experience is anything like mine, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll elaborate more when I can find the time.
