This standard daily shaver model won't be back again until the fall when the + plate launches, and even then supplies will be limited in order to make room for the + models during that release.  So if you like a comfortable daily shaver style razor, this is probably the best time to grab the 0.73 mm standard Drakkant until the new year.

I have my eye on that plus plate.  Are you going to be selling the plate separately?

It is a very nice looking razor!  I will have more to report tomorrow night as I shave after a shower once I get home from work in the mornings.

I plan to shave with the Drakkant 2-3 times and send it on Saturday.

How are the shaves going.  Were you able to send it off last Saturday as planned?

My previous post was the shaves I had with the Drakkant.  I also completed the feedback form.  Thanks again for providing the prototype for the passaround!

I was done with the razor last Saturday and packed everything up.  I wasn't able to get it out until during the week. I got word from Dpc007 that he has the razor now.

Yes! There will be an option to select your plate choice or just the plate. We will also be releasing a stand this fall too.

So my son has a birthday coming up and I just ordered another Drakkant for him. I think he’ll like it.  Happy2

Wow! Thanks so much Mark!! I'm sure he will love it. Would you like to DM his name to put on the thank you card?

I enjoyed my time with the Drakkant razor.  I used plenty of buffing and at no point did I have any weepers or irritation. The design certainly makes the razor stand out.  Blade feel was low but that worked in my favor.  I like the handle a lot.  I don’t have any negative feedback to share.

In summary, this is a perfect daily driver and I will be on the hunt to get one.  The razor was placed in the mail this morning.

Pretty sure this passaround is finished as all three razors appear to have arrived at the last user on the list. Thanks to everyone who participated and provided feedback. You have each helped to make this (and future) razor/s better!

Great pass around Kaleb. Thanks for doing this for us. Also, I received my son’s birthday razor in the mail earlier this week. Beauty  Happy2

I finally got around to using this pass around razor a few times.  in short, I enjoyed it quite a bit and love the handle, but I'm not sure I'd purchase 1 as I feel my blackland era with its multiple bottom plate options already fulfills the role that this razor would.

the razor is on the mild side but very efficient with blade clamping near the edge, which is what I prefer in newer razors.  the one quibble I had was some machining issues near the top of the handle, but Kaleb mentioned to me that that issue was resolved in the production model already.

thanks again for passing the razor around, AylsworthRazors!
