I just received a Brooks Brothers NOS puck of shaving soap
And a Sunny Jim aluminum razor handle. The handle looks well made. It is extremely lightweight, so it will be interesting to try with my AS-D2 heads.

Just an addendum. The handle turned out to be way too light for me. But even worse, it came with a Merkur standard head that was listed as "brand new" but has several dings on the top, consistent with use or rough handling. When I complained, I got no response whatever, so I have filed a case for refund with eBay. I would NOT recommend buying anything from Sunny Jim.

Thanks for the heads up churchilllafemme. I have never seen that particular vendor before, but will avoid at all costs now.
