Hi there,
I would like to present to you the prototype in progress in my workshop.
Here are the features I wanted:
- increased shaving speed
- Controlled softness
AC blades provide a large cutting surface and ideal rigidity. A huge opening will allow a large evacuation of the foam while increasing the efficiency of the razor.
Here are some 3D images.

Great model work. Very unique aesthetics I have to commend you on being original. AC type blades are excellent so Im thrilled to have this in the market.

I'm curious what you mean by shaving speed? Are you alluding to the wider AC blade format resulting in a quicker shave? because 100% agree on that.

Im curious how you worked out the blade loading. A razor like the vector or colonial general are very easy due to having pronounced blade posts. Rocnel SE-50 on the other hand is a nightmare. No posts, and you have to fidget with a standalone thread.

Keep us updated, and I'm happy to give it a test and compare with different AC blades if you need !

I am talking about reducing the time to achieve a complete shave, here the AC blades provide more cutting width and a good lather release will allow less intermediate cleaning of the razor.

As a Colonial General owner, I really like the large safety bar on this design. I don't get along the best with the AC blades so I have held off on getting a Vector, but I will give this some consideration.

It looks very interesting. Can’t wait for you to make one and tell us how it shaves for you.

One thing I’m curious about is the long bottom guard. I’ve never seen a razor with a guard that protrudes out that far and I’m wondering how it may affect getting under the nose. Really excited for this one

Very clever design.
Neutral exposure, with light hand.
Positive exposure, with some pressure.

Not sure about handle design.
I really loved the classic Colonial Razors "The General V2".
