A neighbor moved and left the usual flotsam and jetsam behind. I rescued a book from a box of magazines in the dumpster. It is FACING EAST by Jack Levine with forward by writer James A. Michener, signed and limited edition. It's the mother of all coffeetable books ( huge) in a silk case in a plastic envelope ( it's super clean.) There are numerous prints alongside with the actual book of Levine's artistic impressions of Japan.
I tried finding a book dealer to offerl it and there must be a few dozen unsold by every one and absolutely no resale market.
If anyone has, or knows someone with an interest I will send it on asking only shipping costs. Again, this is a big book so that may be a few pennies.
I haven't schlepped it down to see what the damage would be.
