Being the nit-pick I am, in situations like this, instead of trying to cram the brush against the edges of the container to pick up soap, I usually force the soap away from the edges and to the middle of the container. Works quite well with most soaps, but with triple-milled or other hard soaps, not so much…

You know, I was thinking about doing the same thing on my next shave because the ring of soap started breaking up. I'm going to miss the scent on this one. Puro Fresco has been discontinued. It would make a great room fragrance. I leave the tub open so my little bathroom smells like a high-end hotel... Wink

Haha! Actually it's bittersweet. I love the scent of this soap, but for a long time I considered the performance to be second tier. But once I started using it a lot, I really dialed in the lather more and now I really like it. Just as it's going away...

I am psyched to re-use the container with a new soap!

I do accelerate my use once I break through to bottom - I'm constantly amazed at how many shaves you can still get from such a tiny amount of remaining soap. Its like magic soap that refuses to die.Smile

Puro Fresco is indeed a very classy scent, I think “high-end hotel” describes it marvelously.

You could always write Larry at CRSW a note — it seems he has brought back some other scents that were gone for a while.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

That's a great idea! I made a product suggestion to Rod at Stirling on a thread here, and he responded a few days later saying he'd do it! So you never know... Wink

Never hurts to ask. And I believe the scent to be loved by many.

By the way, I just remembered what Puro Fresco always reminds me of. You said “high-end hotel”. Well, my thought has always been “high-end department store,” so not too far off. Smile
