From eBay: An early Schick Krona, and early Gillette Super Speed (no date code), and a puck of Colgate/Palmolive soap (my guess is it is not too old) - not sure if I want to use the soap or trade it.  The razors need some cleaning, but I think they will be perfectly servicable after that.  All for $10.00 plus shipping.

Well my backup of Dr Jon's arrived. Opening up the tub, the soap looks very odd. It is shrunken in from the side of the tub, and there is a lot of discoloration to it. Additionally, and most alarming, there is a dried 'foam' around the edge of the soap, as if it has been used. The product is supposed to be new.

I'm a little worried / disgusted to say the least. I sent an email to Shave Shack Texas, the store I ordered from. I'm not expecting much in the way of a response, though. There is probably a good reason I have never even heard of them.

Still, there is always a chance. Have a great Saturday folks.

Not mold. It's the stearic acid salt released usually due to water being introduced so I say it is used. I've had soaps do it as I tub load. It will not affect the quality of the soap but it's disgusting that they would sell a used soap. No excuse. If returned they should have inspected before reselling.

I agree Dave, and it definitely upsets me. But, mistakes happen and at least the response appears positive (for now). I spoke with the owner. He said the lady who handles his inventory is in on Tuesday. She'll check if they have another. If not, they're going to refund the purchase.

The website shows it out of stock, so I'm thinking I'm just out of luck. Hopefully I'll get my money back at least.

Dscosmetic ZO (R41) Copper

Somethings that came in recently. 

Freddiep318ti redid the lettering on my Speed Shaver and gave it shine. Now it looks brand new!

And a NEW APSCo Titanium knot arrived and got set in an APSCo Ocean Waves handle from a BST.
