My first Paladin brush; had to wake up at 0230 in the morning to beat off the competition and purchase it!Some top-notch shaving equipment right there. I’m hoping that you like the razor immediately, but if not, give it some time. When you have the chance, let us know how you like the new brush and razor.

Since I began wet shaving, three months ago, the Blackland Blackbird Razor has been my unicorn; until now. Can't wait to use it tonight!

Thank you! I love the razor and brush already. The brush needs to be broken in but the firm backbone and the soft tips were already apparent and enjoyable. The razor will take some time before I am proficient with it. I sent Shane a message yesterday about it and he gave me some tips on how to make it less aggressive; he also said to give it a week before I become "dialed in".

It would be interesting to hear some of Shane’s tips concerning the Blackbird (perhaps on the Blackbird thread or as a private message). I do echo his sentiment about giving it a week, except in my case it would go something like: “Give it a week or three…”
