Thanks Eric. Yeah, it's definitely creepy. Lol.

Yep, it's from D&D. It's been forever since I played. Still, the painting is fun and relaxing.

I spent many happy hours in high school playing. Then last summer I discovered Stranger Things on Netflix! Fun times!

Awesome.

I never watched that, other than a few minutes here and there. My wife and (youngest) daughter are big fans. My daughter was curious about D&D after seeing that show, though. Lol.

I went back to the Macduffs Unscented this afternoon, and it was another awesome shave. So far, I have two wonderful unscented soaps. Both lack lanolin and I get consistently great shades with either.

I have a sample of Stirling Beeswax coming in shortly. No Lanolin there either, so hopefully it's a hit.

I've been experimenting recently with Stirling Frost drops. So far it's been good. I've been adding 2-3 drops to my last pass. Just enough for a mild cooling to calm the skin and give me that refreshing feeling. I'll keep at this and see how it works in the long run.

Have a great evening folks!

Glad the lack of lanolin is proving positive in results for you Paul

Thanks Dave. It seems to be. It's not 100% certain, but it's the route I'm going.

I tried the Wholly Kaw Bare Siero recently. It is a lanolin soap, but also has a whey base. The reaction I got was the worst yet ... Redness and itching. Could have been the Whey, or a mixture of the two. Nonetheless, I'm continuing to stay away from Lanolin, for now. Same with scents... I'm doing much better in consistency without any.

Have a good evening and enjoy your trip, Dave.

Well, my Stirling shipment came in yesterday. I had to order my post shave balm anyway, so trying the Beeswax base was a cheap 'experiment'.

My first shave was last night. It definitely did the job, but I question how protective it is (in comparison to others). Don't get me wrong, it was good soap... and I got no drama from my shave (no irritation, dryness, etc). Still, I think for Sunday I'll do a side-by-side with Zingari to better compare its performance. That way I'll know more definitively if it should be in-stock in my den.

Happy Saturday folks!
