Good one! As can be typical for me, I was too vague in my post. I meant to be referencing the dry spell of Journal entries here!

Ahh, gotcha. Yeah, it has been a while. I guess I didn't have much to put here recently... Or I've finally begun falling victim to my nature: I don't do well with keeping up on Journals.

Not much "new" to post, shave-wise. I did get a door-hanging shoe organizer for my soaps yesterday. Still in the 'getting to know you' faze. We'll see if it is a good fit and lasts. As folks have seen in my rare SOTD posts, I stack my soaps on a shelf. Hard to see ones in the back row, especially not on the top of the stack of 3. This makes everything easily visible, which is nice. It is cheap looking, but my bathroom never was a showplace for entertaining and socialite balls (cue the AC/DC)

Hmm... Ooh, I also go in for minor surgery tomorrow. So if I fall off the face of the planet, you'll know it didn't go so well. Lol. I wonder if I should have a will prepared for my shave gear? I kid... I kid.

Really can't think of anything else... I'm just too darn boring.

I totally get this Paul and have had these thoughts in my head for a while as far as journal entries. I don't do much more than post what was in my picture and a picture anymore and feel like I can do that over in the sotd thread. I guess I've been trying to figure out how to slowly drift off without having people think I met my demise LOL. I like coming to the journals and reading them but I just don't have the time to post much of an entry anymore and feel like it's just a repeat of the SOTD for me. I hope the surgery goes well and you get the end results you're hunting. Take care!

I think that's a great way... Just post that you don't have a ton of time these days. You'll be around and absolutely posting in your journal, when you have content. However, you plan to keep the SoTD in one thread so you aren't wasting your time (which is shrinking) double posting.

Makes sense to me. Then again, I've never been accused of being conventional (or sane).

First, Best wishes for a boring, routine procedure from the surgeon's point of view, as well as a speedy, but restful, recovery for you!

Second, M. Trotter has done what you suggested to Dave, and I will take it as read that you are alive and well, but nothing really to write if I don't see anything for a while. I do the same.

Like I mentioned above, this makes perfect sense. You have mentioned several times the amount of brush-work you've been doing, in addition to your regular job, and you have posted in the past that you may step away for a while.

Paul T does just what you wrote regarding SOTD instead of posting in both threads.

I am being "selfish" in that I so enjoy reading and interacting, but it can suck up a lot of time. I don't know if we'll ever hear from Old Sarge again, but I didn't want you guys to go missing as well! See, selfish, all about me!

I hear ya. Bryan just disappeared one day. I hope he's doing well.

Paul does the same, and it works out for him. A post here and there on top of the normal forum use. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Me, it's not really a time thing. It's just a lack of interesting content. I'm still posting and reading and annoying folks en mass across the rest of the Board.

As I'm off of work until next week, I'll probably be posting even more. Thanks for the support guys. Its simple and of course i'll be just fine. I only mentioned it "in case".
