I have so many brushes (including another Maggards 24), so I can absolutely stand to loose a few. I believe I'm at 19 or 20? Still haven't bought a second face (or 3rd or 19th).

Besides, some really nice guy did an awesome pif during the holidays offering most of his goods to others. In that spirit I'm moved to do the same.

Holy Mackerel, as we say in da UP, eh! That would be outstanding! But if you want a trade, just pick a brush (only a few aren't available)! I do have a lovely purple Trotter Handcrafts handle, Communion, that is 28mm/30mm, and I am having difficulty finding the best knot.

I am babbling, as I did not expect such a great offer. I will shut up now, and say Thank You.
You are most welcome Eric. No need for a trade, as I said, I am brush heavy. I'm happy you liked the work. I'll get it out to you tomorrow.

Have a great evening.

According to the USPS, the brush is enjoying a Maine winter day in the mail box! Unfortunately I will not be able to rip open the package until late tonight. After work tonight, I will be driving down to Scarborough to a Veterinary hospital to pick up Tyler. The poor old boy has been fighting an ear infection as well as, of all things, a tapeworm! But he is doing well now so they said come and get him. He had started wobbly walking and not interacting with us or the other kitty. We feared the worst and local vet couldn't see him for over a week!

Not a broken car in a bad spot, but a trip to "rescue" our furry kid!

The plan for the brush is to use it tomorrow if it is possible, or I'll soak it for a few days and use it Sunday. Thanks again, Paul, I am looking forward to it!

Arrived safely and so much appreciated! Thank you so very much!

And I see no globs, blobs, or any other defect. It has a great vintage vibe, so maybe that is acting as camouflage! Please DON'T tell me anything else, as I can't see it myself, lol.

So last night I brought my daughter's car in to have the mechanic take a look. Based on how it was acting. I was all but sure the engine had lost a cylinder. That would have been game over for the car.

I got the call this evening. It is all fixed. I wish I could remember the details but I was too busy doing a dance of joy. Lol. Misfiring something or other. And something in the exhaust rotted out which added to the noise, shaking, and disruption (but nothing horrible or costly). All total $211 tax included. Woohoo!

It's so satisfying when things actually go well with a vehicle repair. What a great start to the weekend!

Eric Smattayu does amazing work. I can't wait to set a knot in this one. [Image: c2554c90d248683dbccdb5b105011589.jpg]

I managed to get a morning shave in today. I also managed to get the new Sorrento Brushworks knot set. So, I used the new brush, along with the MSC Apricot Pie soap I got for Christmas. The Henson Al-13 Medium got the call, as I'm trying this one out (again). I loaded a new Personna Comfort Coated blade and went to town. Three passes and I'm happy.

The apricot pie very much smells like the name denotes: a sweet apricot and piecrust scent. The crust scent appears it be vanilla and almond. It really does smell great. Definitely a sweet gourmand soap.
