Yes, what Dave in KY said! I got side tracked by all the cool Disney memories. But the point should have been about your photo. Really nice. I find it difficult to make it artsy, and guys that can do that have my admiration, making it a neat artistic photo instead of my usual memo documentation, lol.

Thanks Tony. I'll do my best... I don't have a great track record with keeping up a journal.

Today was a good day. I got the lawn mowed, the wife and I did some cleaning, and we got several other things checked off our to-do list. I also got a nice afternoon shave in.

As usual, I used the Henson TiMed, again with the Personna Comfort coated blade (2nd use). Proraso Red was calling to me, and I decided to go with the Trotter Handcrafts Yellow with a 26mm 2BED synth. In the end, it was a great, comfortable, close shave.

I also rearranged my shaving display shelves a bit... At the top is my OS Mug with the dried out old spice (Indian) cream in it. Next is the Graydog keyhole brush with the Gillette in my mother's birth year (1950). Finally, on the bottom shelf is my first Trotter brush with the Schick Grip from the generous MaineYooper . All special to me.

Well, enough of the sappiness. Have a good evening DFS![Image: 9ca72558fb76fdb84b1d6d436f09b0c2.jpg][Image: 90968b6e50b16b4893f560595de53c4d.jpg]

BTW today should have been the day we went to Pasteur's, but we needed to postpone it for a few more weeks.

Still plan to check out a bunch of Tobacco soaps (among others), including the WK Dulci Tobacco that DanLaw and HighSpeed highly recommend. They might even have some autumn soaps in stock, if we wait long enough. Lol.

Thanks Eric! I forgot all about the print (it's been there quite a while).

The razor on top is (roughly) the same razor in the ad. I did use some silicone to hold the caps in place, as it has several large cracks in the barrel. So, the razor is fully functional... But not likely to get any actual use (too rough a shave for my tastes).
