Anyone else really excited for Blackland’s Slant??

I’m excited, too, but you guys are going to have to wait a while! It’s looking like a mid-summer release. It is a torsion slant (it twists the blade). There is some Blackland-style blade feel and I’m dialing in the right amount right now. Shave geometry is close to complete and then aesthetics will be tightened up, handle included. Then we’ll get rolling.

I don’t think the slant will be the most exciting release this year. You guys are going to be really surprised with one big project what I’ve got cooking, in particular.

I sense an adjustable. Thinking out loud here - BlackLand already has -  a GEM, a Feather AC, Two regular DEs. A Ti razor would be nice but I personally don't find that more exciting than a slant. A true injector?

You won’t guess it. It’s a really different project from anything I’ve done. It will get its own thread pretty soon here this spring.

Straight razor?!

Caught the March update from Blackland and I’m starting to think my long recovery from RAD might be in peril!

Not only do I see the polished brass blackbird is coming but now I see he’s got a slant on the way too!


Really excited for another high quality slant to come as I really enjoy the Wunderbar I have now.
