Okay, I see a limited consensus. Too much of a good thing is taken for granted. I see it as an opportunity for another artisan to create something unique and give them some business. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't be happier with my B&M. Perhaps down the road other artisans might want to get involved in creating DFSII.

I agree that too much of good luck thing is bad. I also like the having something unique to group I associate with.

I also like the idea of rotating artisans.

That was a pleasant exchange, and I personally agree with the outcome. Totally love DFS I, and would participate in DFS II in 2016. I also have a mild interest in an earlier comment regarding group buy, but of course that would depend on what, when, etc....

Teiste introduced a shavemac group buy to the site a little while back: http://damnfineshave.com/thread-shavemac...-group-buy

You have to be resourceful to get the alcohol based aftershave in Canada - my wife has relatives in California and I had the aftershave delivered there and eventually brought home. A bit of a hassle but it works.

Perhaps set up a distributorship with IB? The whole thing was new when we did it, so that stuff hadn't been worked out yet. razorock, thoughts?

Yes, that too, however this member was talking about the DFS soap/aftershave and that wasn't carried by any Canadian distributors so he didn't buy either soap or aftershave because he could only get the soap. Personally I don't get fussed about matching aftershave and soap. I'll do it sometimes but to really maximize the experience I generally use different aftershaves / balms than the soap I'm using. Also I can't imagine having as many aftershaves as I have soaps and further, many soaps don't have companion aftershaves. Can you tell I've had my morning coffee and 3 espresso shots?

Will, I'm happy that the arrangement with IB is working (hopefully well) as it gives us here in Canada access to almost your full line of products. And we get to benefit from IB's free shipping. I know you offer free shipping as well but it doesn't extend to Canada - I don't think any US based vendor offers that.
