I promised to turn a brush handle for my wife's nephew while he was in town this weekend. The handle is Honey Locust and the knot is a 30mm Plisson type synthetic. This thing is a beast! The finish is CA glue, which I did in two stages, each followed by a 12 stage buffing system. The best part is he's thrilled with it.

Very nice — simple, yet elegant and timeless.

Thanks. That's how he wanted it. I just drew up some ideas based on what he told me, and this is what we went with. It feels perfect in the hand, which was most important to him, plus he wanted a clean look.

It looks like a great shape for a handle that houses a knot that size. Should provide years of comfortable soap-destroying action. Smile

Beautiful brush. I agree with Matsilainen about the shape. It looks like it would be very comfortable in the hand.

When will you start taking orders? Evilgrin
