As some of you know, I had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago.  After almost a month I gathered enough courage to go on youtube to view videos of similar procedures.  I've posted some below.  Its not me in the videos, they're just examples. I am compelled to issue a warning that these videos are graphic and not for the faint of heart.  If you're looking at having this sort of surgery, I strongly advise you not to watch the videos until after you're surgery.  While I have the highest respect for these surgeons and their amazing dedication, don't let anybody tell you that arthroscopic orthopaedic surgery is in any way "delicate" or "gentle".  Its carpentry through a keyhole, albeit, highly skilled and effective, still.....

Did not watch any of your attached vids. I have a weak constitution. But they are probably better than " A Christmas Story" Just kidding.

The first time I had arthroscopic knee surgery I was told I had to be put under (general anesthesia) because of the uncomfortable positions they'd need to put me in.

Yeah, I don't need to see it. But not for any reason other than I went through it twice and the surgeon earned their money, and I'm here to talk about it. My knees are pretty darn good according to the surgeon. I saw the pix and I'm happy and so are the knees.

Each time the surgeon told me that the damage was worse than they thought it was going to be, even this last time with an MRI to go by. Whatever.
