One at a time - brushed finish might come. Blasted will definitlely come.

Vlasta thanks for the offer. I have placed a pre-order. The Outlaw was a great razor already and I like everything I read and see about the new version. The improved blade clamping is clearly visible in your side-on photos and I think the safety bar is one of the most important (and often neglected) parts of a razor design, so I am hopeful this will really benefit shaving comfort.

By the way, your machine shop in Hong Kong is really excellent, based on the Alpha Outlaw and Claymore razors I have. In particular it is impressive how good your polishing is and how small the price uplift is for this finish. Polishing has been the graveyard for so many razors and you’ve obviously found an outstanding partner. I lived in Hong Kong for four years (about twenty years ago) and it is a special place with the nicest people, so I’m very happy to support a good Hong Kong business and I wish you and your team the best.

First shave opinion. The fit and tolerances are perfect with one exception. Nice tight threading, perfect blade alignment, and good clean finishing. All nice and smooth edges. The grip on the handle ( I got the 85 mm bravo) is excellent. The weight with the texture it was secure wet and dry. The only quip I’ll note for potential future production runs is that the stand is just entirely too big for the handle. In the ballpark of 1-2 mm too big. With how perfect everything else is engineered and machined I’m scratching my head here as I watch the razor wobble for 10 seconds every time I place it down.

My complaints end there. The shave is as good as it comes in the medium efficiency category. The bladefeel and comfort will appeal to 90% of wetshavers. Those who like 0 blade feel like the feather asd2, and those who like hyper efficient razors like the r41 may not get along

My go-to is the blackbird, but for quick a pre-work shave I might find myself going for this one. There is a satisfying amount of blade feel. Just enough to know it’s there and know you have the angle right. The angle of effective shaving isn’t massive, but the feedback and blade feel are easy to keep track.

Good one for sure. Tremendous value for a ti razor at this price point

The lightness of the titanium means it may seem to "wobble" as you say but it is a minor issue. I can guarantee also that if I made it tighter then someone else would complain that it marked the handle. I cannot win really... maybe I need to rethink the whole stand thing at some point and have the razor lying down like the OneBlade - but I hate that....

And - I guess some of us need bigger holes then others - - hahahaha

It’s a good thought, Steve.  I’ve had stands for razors 7+ years of frequent use which show no signs of wear at the point of contact.  maybe more of a problem for copper and other soft metals. Your design for the stand is great I would not suggest to rethink it.

I’ve commisioned a bunch of custom stands for my razors.  I usually aim for .3 mm bigger than the actual diameter. Call it .5 for tolerance at production scale.  Ends up having a satisfying fit with which doesn’t get too ”sticky” when wet like my vector which looks like it’s only oversized  .1-.2mm
