Actually, now that I think of it, you can get a new brass Blackbird for $170 - not a big bump for your budget. I actually preferred the Brassbird to the SS version.

Right now I am leaning toward the Timeless Bronze .38. I can always get the .78 plate down the road.

Think I have narrowed it down to the Timeless Bronze. I can get scratch and dent razor with both the .38 and .78 plates for $145. As I have mentioned my current daily driver is the Timeless Aluminum. My concern is that the .38 plate may be less efficient than the AL. and the .78 might be too much. I would appreciate any thoughts from anyone who has experience with both the Aluminum and the Bronze.
