Age of this forum

I miss some of the older forums. I liked the first version of SMF and I really liked Coticule.be (it still exists in a very minimal way). I'm a member of the new SMF, but don't go there often anymore.

Truth be told, I lurk here on DFS a bit, but don't post like I used to. The good thing is that any questions people may have are immediately answered by other members and while I may peruse the threads, I don't feel the need to add my two cents. This hobby is certainly in maintenance mode for me.

sadly the guy who owns SMF will not sell it, so it'll likely continue to die a slow death. I tried to buy it before obtaining the DFS domain name back from the owner that Truckman sold it to.

This forum has a lot of guys from other forums it seems as it should. However, I know of lot guys from this forum have also been banned at other said forums for whatever reasons. Glad to see we can all continue on with our shaving relationships here?

Interesting, I never think about any forum's age before

about a week ago I made a comment on TSN and was promptly banned. It was over the new 17-4 brouhaha. Most places will give you a friendly warning. Not there - one strike and no soup for you. Good riddance - I rarely spent much time there. getting banned from TSN is a badge of honor.
