How does it shave and is it mild, medium or aggressive?

Interesting, sure looks like a Gibbs and Yaqi Final Cut. Interested in your thoughts on it.

First impression on my 5-day stubble:

Razor impression:
- the razor looks very nice
- knurling on the handle is very fine yet the grip is very firm
- it's good to drop a drop of thread oil to be sure that it's completely tightened or maybe it's just my imagination Smile
- there are no numbers on the dial - there is a name of manufacturer STANDO. It's not starting on any letter so you just need to find your own setup. But I enjoy that it's different than regular numbers
- you need to first set your level then tighten the sleeve and then tighten the lower thread so it's not possible to change the setup on the go. On the one hand it's not fully user friendly on the other - you are fully sure that it will not change during the shave
- the sleeve is interchangeable and I heard that in future there will be a selection of sleeves in various colors and materials

Shave impression:
I generally prefer milder and effective razors (I often use: Rockwell 6S on 4, 2024 Paradigm Diamondback Ti, Tatara Nodachi, Alpha Outlaw, iKon B1 OSS or OC, Paradigm Salient etc.) yet sometimes I reach for R41 to get the 101% BBS.
Especially I don't like too much feeling the blade.
I usually do 2 passes - WTG and ATG and I can reach ~95% BBS which is enough for me.

And with Tryglaw it's like that. I have started with more or less 2 letters from starting point and ending with 4.
The Gap is pretty big but you do not really feel the blade (at 2) and really mild (at 4). Which is perfect for me.
I reached my BBS quickly, without any irritations and my skin is really thankful.
So, at least from the first impression - it's rather mild on lower settings, without too much blade feel but it's really effective. It will for sure jump in to my rotation - and it's not easy task as I have ~10 razors in rotation but own 280 modern razors.

SP3CtRUM do you know HLS Taiga? Sounds like Taiga for me, mild on lower settings, on higher big gap with low blade exposure.

I was able to purchase the Stando Tryglaw Adjustable razor. Hopefully I’ll get it at this month. Super excited to try it out.
