Same way you do pictures. Download it to your device and then click the black box with the white I and it will let you select the gif or pic from your device. Once selected it will insert it wherever your cursor is.

This is what is created when you use the "i" button except the link/url is auto-magically inserted for you. If you wanted you could upload the image your self to a service like imgur and then copy the url between the img tags and get the same result. So if you have a url to an animated gif somewhere on the web, you can open the post editor and create the example above (don't use the
Code tag, I just did that so you could see what is actually inserted without it turning that into an image)

You also can use the View Source button on the editor (the last button on far right) and it will reveal the "code" for the images

So here is an example from giphy site:

And here is what I typed in (except for the Code tag, don't use that when really doing this)
