Got on an APShave Co 2BED Synth knot to put in my Maseto brush. I Removed the stock bristles. While they were good, and absolutely did the job, they weren't great. After using the Synbad for a while, I'm starting to lean towards softer brushes.

I will use this tomorrow, which gives it 2 days drying. Dry, it feels great. Hopefully it performs just as well in practice. [Image: dacb5cc8c0594595cada5e0b6f16b980.jpg]

What size knot? I have the 26mm, and looking down (I should take a photo) it is huge, looking as large as a 30mm knot! And you're right, it feels soooo soft dry. I may have to take mine for a spin tomorrow, now. Weak minds are easily influenced!  Big Grin

Pearl Flex 1. All brass with a beautiful satin finish. This beast weighs 4.9 oz but feels comfortable in hand. First shave tomorrow.

Hey Eric, it's a 24mm. It is big from the top, which is normal for a fan knot. I think, because it's extra dense, it'll feel quite full when lathering. Hoping for a good shave from it. Will definitely report back.
