Did you ever get a smooth shave out of the R41?

Smooth? No. But I have managed irritation free. The result is always very close, but no matter what blade I use, the shave itself is always pretty harsh feeling. I think it will probably be PIF'd.

I’ve owned the following Timeless heads: .68 Scallopped, .95 Dual comb (OC/SB), .95 OC, and a .95 SB. IMHO the .95 SB provides the very best combination of efficiency and smoothness. I never get irritation from this razor. In fact, this is the razor the ended my DE RAD.
And BTW: I have a very coarse beard and somewhat sensitive skin, for your reference.

Wow, seems mostly everyone goes with the 95! I'm thinking about the 95 now.

The OC in .95 can bite if you are careless, but the SB just so smooth.

Well, done and done! I'll be looking forward to your review. It's only a matter of time before I get a Timeless myself. I feel it's inevitable.

You are going to love the Timeless set. The 95 is a very smooth and efficient razor. The fit and finish is impressive. Plus the guys are very personable with great customer service.

Congratulations on a great investment.

I’ve yet to find a smoother shaver than the Timeless

I'm not surprised. That's a tall order.

It was a matter of time for me as well! Long overdue!
