My wife ripped me the other day, when I received the Adagio and Cologne Russe tubs. I was showing her the difference between the B&M tubs and the very plain Strop Shoppe tub I received as well that day, as Maggards was clearing them out. She roasted us wetshavers and said we are "like women." Is she right? That kinda burnt me up a bit and I certainly gave her a hard time back but man, I just like a quality product and a quality tub. It shows workmanship, it shows you care, and it looks great when you use it, or in your cabinet.

Love the B&M's packaging, it just screams quality. I'm also liking the revamp Rod made with his labels.

So much eye candy for such great products, what more could I ask.

I wonder what their lables and containers would look like by next year???

Can't speak for ezlovan, but ours will look like this. This is the final form, so to speak. Smile

I've contacted my design team and it will be corrected for all future soaps (and, when we run out of these labels, for Cologne Russe as well).

I am so happy to know that, Will.  For once I looked and did see! Tongue

Final form here, as well. Updating the packaging and labels was quite an undertaking.

On that note, I do love the new look, Will. Very eye catching, and not in a garish manner. Sharp.

Rod, I think your products are great and I love your straight peach scented shaving soap. However, I have it in your older green tub so I just took a look on your site and I have to agree that the new look is a big step up. Definitely classy. I've said this before, our artisans are giving the big boys a run for their money in the quality of their goods. Now, even the packaging you folks are producing is equal to or surpasses the look of long established companies.

Haha.   That's what my girlfriend is always saying about me.

Let's see...

I have two drawers holding my shaving stuff.    Everything in them is neatly arranged and there is room for a lot more shaving supplies in there (let's say they are 65% full).

She has ownership of 2 identical drawers and a full cabinet that reaches from the floor to the ceiling.   The drawers (and the cabinet) are completely full (if you stick one more Q-tip in there, the whole bathroom would explode) and everything is completely disorganized.   If I was like her ("like a woman") we would be on the verge of becoming hoarders.

I think they are just jealous that our products are cooler than theirs.    Or perhaps they feel threatened by the fact that room in the bathroom is getting scarce.   Heck, before I got in to DE shaving I had 1 toothbrush, 1 Mach 3, 1 deodorant and one brush.  Now I've got 2 drawers full of stuff...not counting the shaving stuff I'm hoarding...err...I mean storing, in the garage.

Definitely this. My wife and I had a many heated discussions about me taking up a drawer or three.... Drawers on my side of the his and her sink vanity...

These new B&M tubs are awesome! Very easy to open and close, nice sturdy thick plastic walls, not a cheap plastic tub by any means. Cologne Russe is a nice scent and I like the soap more than the A/S but a very nice mix of petitgrain, amber, and violet. Floral but not in a overly feminine way. Oh, I almost forgot it is the new glisant base which makes a terrific lather as well.
