My heart is broken as I read the news about Mark as I mourn a loss of my own. Thank you Frank Dragonsbeard for this posting and wonderful tribute to one of the classiest gentleman I've know on these forums.

I'm so saddened to hear this news - Mark was a wonderful DFS member and a true gentleman - Thank you for writing that tribute, Frank.
Mark always helped me with shave decisions and responded to PMs immediately - when I was looking to build a unit to house my shave gear he sent me this picture of his own - WAY too many holders for me, but I used the same artisan to build my shelves.
I will miss Mark - RIP my friend.

I did not know ShaveMD very well, but I knew that I trusted his thoughts on things. I knew that if I saw a post of his, it would be thought-out, funny, and encouraging. Often at the same time! My condolences to his family and those who knew him best.

I've only spoken to Mark myself a few times, but he was always very helpful and one of the absolute cornerstones of the community for knowledge. I could always take his thoughts or advice as an absolute. I volunteered at Ronald McDonald House a lot back in college and have had family stay there before, so I love the charity donation Frank. I'm in for a set as soon as it's available. Condolences to the family and everyone that knew him.
