Couple of months ago, I remember thinking 'Where's ShaveMD'?
Which is odd for me to think, because I'm in another part of the world
and don't know him half as well as some of you. Anyway, the point is, he was a
daily poster and even then I wondered what might have occurred to keep him away.
59 is far too young an age to be called away. My condolences to the family, they
must be devastated.
The good doctor and me didn't have the best of relationships in the early days, and
often found ourselves on opposite ends of a particular argument, but I feel we had
largely made our peace. After hearing this sad news, I'm glad we did.
RIP Sir.

Frank, what a beautiful tribute to ShaveMD. He will be missed all around the world in many ways. As a family man, as a doctor, and as a fellow wet shaver. He left a positive imprint to many of us. Such a nice and humble man. I was lucky enough to have asked him a few questions on this forum and he always answered immediately. RIP to ShaveMD, and will celebrate the life he lived to the fullest, in honesty, and always helping someone whether it’s medical or shaving.
Man… I had no idea I bought more than a few razors and brushes from him and he was always a joy to do business with. Over the years I have very much appreciated his contributions to this forum and DFS is worse for his passing. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
My favorite travel razor, my Blackland Vector, I purchased from Mark so I’ll now think of him whenever I use it.

This news saddened me. We will miss Mark on our small shaving community. Mark was such a great contributor. Me and Mark messaged each other and he always responded right away if I asked him about the opinion of a certain razor new to his den. He was true gent & class act. My condolences to Mark’s Family and Friends.
Frank I applaud you for such a wonderful tribute to Mark. May he rest in peace. Shave it up there in heaven!
