What is your favorite pure rose scent (not rose mixed with other scents) in a crop. I think that’s what you call it—a soft soap, not a shave cream nor hard soap?

Soap Commander Love is quite possibly the most true rose scent out there. I don't know if it is quite a croap... It's not the softest, but not a triple milled.

It's a 'seasonal scent', so it comes in smaller 3oz sizes. It's $10 on their site, several left in stock (typically Valentine Day release, I think).

As far as softer soaps go, I would say that I like the scent of Los Angeles Shaving Black Rose the best. My recollection is that Eufros Bourbon Rose is a bit harder than the LASSCo soap, but it's also very nice. (It may also be out of production.)

I also like rose of Cyril R. Salter Rose Shaving Cream, but that's not what you've asked for.

I would agree that the Soap Commander rose scent is wonderful. Also great is the vintage Art of Shaving Rose Absolute cream, which often is hardened to croap or soft soap consistency now because of it age.

Mystic water yellow rose is an awesome rose.

I didn't quite understand what you need. Cream or solid soap? I have both. And they have a great rose scent.[Image: 5tIuTAu.jpg]

Thanks for the suggestion, but at $79.50 it is too rich for my blood.

I'm looking for a soap, but a softer soap, not a really hard one, if that makes sense?
