He was concerned because he thought Supers would not fit. Really looking forward to this one. Mine seems to be stuck in China but we’ll see.

I must amend my post. I got the feather super to fit before I wrote the post, but had to break it to get it out as the fit was too tight.

Ahhh, ok. But the Schick Proline is fine in it?

Do you think that you may have encountered the following, as sent by Alpha, via email?

"Please Note:

It has come to my attention that a very small number of the razor heads have an issue with the blade locating posts on the top cap. A very few have been machined slightly oversize - by 0.02 mm - it is a tiny amount but it means that in some cases the blades do not quite fit or are a little tight."

No because I am only speaking for the Feather super blades. He had already mentioned these blades don’t fit. The advertised feather pros fit perfect. Also I tried a proline which also fit perfectly.

Alright so. Post shave. Went in with no prep, but my best performing soap. I used the advertised feather pros. Prolines are my favorite blades by far so that will be next up. Anyways a very comfortable shave. Nice heft to the razor which always feels safe due to the grip. The fit into the stand was nice, and the blade is well clamped.

I would rate this as 7 in efficiency.

For reference the vector is a 6 for me
Paradigm SE is a 4

Why would Feather Pros fit but not Feather Pro Supers? Are the holes in the blade different?

Interesting, because when I wrote Steve specifically about the Super blade his reply was:

“It won't take Pro Lite. Pro super is same as all the others.”

I assure you guys it does not fit. I tried all 3. The holes are just fractionally smaller in the super. Probably not even perceptible to the eye.

As George said above Steve confirmed supers do not fit as well.

Well, given that I inquired prior to purchase regarding the Professional Super figment—mine will be returned.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...
Northeast, USA
Came in today ahead of scheduled delivery date. About 8 days total from China to New Jersey. Not bad at all if you ask me. The handle in the plastic bag is the optional handle. Both are quite good and feel very nice in hand. I agree with cornbread in terms of the packaging. More than adequate with the razor placed in a sort of felt type bag placed in a Bamboo cylindrical case. Minimal but, nicely done. Will get a shave in tomorrow with the Claymore Evo paired with a Feather Pro. Couple of pics below as I tried to show a bit of the blade reveal & gap. Not the best but, it gives an idea to those interested……

Mines on the BST after one shave. I cannot see myself reaching for this over the ti vector. The results are similar and I don’t have room in my den for redundancy.
