3-piece DE razors : their weakest point

I’d be surprised if the forces involved here are enough to cause any damage. Most people just finger tighten the threads and there are probably more threads than strictly required to achieve lock down. The existence of stripped and damaged vintage razors is probably caused by cheap pot metal rather than damage from over torquing. My two bits
